Ok.. first of all another apologies for no post recently.. Ive been rather tied down by several aspects of life.. So.. pardon if this post is “Long” I am going to try to cover alot of different stuff. So my apologies up front immediately if i start to ramble on Incoherently. There has been alot of my mind lately and well, lol this is a good of place as any to spew it forth (albeit nothing really bad). So with this, let us start this little trip through the dark corners of this site lol
Topic: New Orleans
A few weeks ago I had a chance to go to New Orleans for the first time, it was a very interesting experience.. Take note.. I was only about 8 weeks post-op at that point so I really could not do much food is still pretty much limited, and for the most part the biggest things to do in New Orleans is to “Drink” and “Eat”.. We did get a chance to see alot of burbon street and the french quarter by foot.. We really didnt get a chance to see some of the things we wanted to see, so at this point Shawn is planning another trip around March, this time to chill out and enjoy ourselves a little. We did get to see Cafe Du Monde (It was neat, but I am still a little perplexed why the Benhowever you spell them are so highly rated.. (Then again.. I may be just skewed at that point due to the diet I had been on).. The Coffee was good though, will have to get myself a bag of that stuff from World Market at some point. On the night we were going to head home, we ended up having to take Shawn to the hospital, and well.. Stomach Virus’s suck, but after a few hours she was ok and good to go home. And then on the way home, we get this lovely experience.
As of today, I am 305 lbs.. Its been a major problem with stalling over the last few weeks.. And it seems I have been at this weight forever.. However I have dropped down another belt size according to the measurements, apparently I should be a 48 now, which means I should be able to finally start buying clothes at places like Walmart and Target and get away from the overly high priced “BIG AND TALL” stores.. So while the “Stall” is annoying Im enduring it.. I find it funny though that despite the fact Ive stopped losing weight people keep telling me that I look so much thinner.. I guess its all in the eye of the beholder… I was also able to fit into a XL Tshirt the other day, it was still a bit snug for me to be comfortable in but, I got into it and it did not hurt or cut off blood supplies. So I am good I think.
Topic: My First Walk
I also did my first charity walk the other day And while it was only a mile.. it was fun for if anything handing out with friends.. and a interesting experience with Ethiopian food afterwards. Though.. the jury is still out to court on that one.. There was some cool things about the place we ate though.
Anyways.. Coming soon.. a little bit of a rant : RE: Halloween
